Thank you Manatee County citizens for the opportunity to serve you another four years as Tax Collector. This will allow the Manatee County Tax Collector’s Office to continue moving forward with our strategic priorities and always “innovating better ways to serve.”

I especially want to thank my staff for what they do each and every day. You can have all the greatest technology or processes in place, but if you do not have the staff to carry them out you will never fully able to reach your potential. I am blessed with a great staff and know good and well they had much to do with me being unopposed.

All through my 20-year career as your Tax Collector, two fixtures have been constant for me at the Supervisor of Elections office – Hon. Bob Sweat and his assistant Nancy Bignell. They both are retiring and I am going to miss them.  May God bless them with peace, prosperity and good health.
